Meet the Pokemon Michael Teitelbaum Books
My kids were into Pokemon but it's been awhile...who knew they'd still be so popular when the grandkids came along? Not me. Suddenly I needed a refresher course. I couldn't remember the different trainers, the types of Pokemon, how they evolved, etc. This book is a great intro. It's easy enough for young readers to handle and also simple for a parent or grandparent , etc to read to a child. The 4 year old loves this book. It's the favorite Pokemon book so far and we have quite a few.
I also made sure to read it well before the kids arrived so I could talk about some of the various Pokemon even before we opened the book. They were amazed.,

Meet the Pokemon Michael Teitelbaum Books Reviews
Very cute, informative book for young Pokemon readers. I really was surprised at how much my 4 year old daughter already knew about the various Pokemon.
Got this book for my son to add to his library since he loves pokemon. The book was as described. Shipped fast.
The Pokemon industry is an advertisement unto itself, and their books are no different. This is basically a definition and description of various Pokemon characters, and that's it. Kids won't care, and the illustrations are very well done and colorful, but storybooks should have stories, IMO. I'd give this 4 stars because my son does like looking through it, but can't see these becoming classic kids' books -
My 1st grader loves Pokemon. These books are great for him to get him motivated to read more. He like the story in this one better than some of the others we have.
Pokemon are still popular today, many years after they were first introduced. This book doesn't have a particular storyline, but it does describe and illustrate many of the main characters and features of the Pokemon universe. My six-year old son loves it, and he can mostly read it himself.
Not a classic story, but recommended as something that will motivate young Pokemon fans to pick up a book and read.
If you do not know much about Pokemon, This is a valuable introduction to Pokemon history. I can now share my Pokemon knowledge with, my students. This book is appropriate for low-level readers.
